This is too good. A woman claiming to be the niece of Colorado Congressman and Presidential candidate Tom Tancredo was arrested last week in New Castle, Colorado.
New Castle Police arrested Crystal Ann Tancredo, 26, outside the Burning Mountain Bowl shortly before midnight Sept. 4. She was booked into the Garfield County Jail on suspicion of second-degree assault on a peace officer, ethnic intimidation, resisting arrest, harassment and disorderly conduct.
Tancredo posted a $7,000 bond shortly after the arrest, according to the Garfield County Combined Courts office.
Tancredo denies he's related to the woman, but admits there may be some "distant relation."
Tancredo got in a scuffle after calling a man an "(expletive) wetback." Yeah, who would believe Tom Tancredo's niece would use language like that </irony>?
Tancredo was instructed to leave or she would be arrested, when she yelled, "What, you are going to take the wetback's word over ours? We are Americans," the affidavit says.
That certainly sounds like a Tancredo. The officer told Tancredo to stop using foul language and she continued, saying she was the niece of Congressman Tancredo, an elected official who was running for President. This is so rich.
